Kooza

What's the community's general take on Kooza? I watched the preview clip and am a little on the fence. From the little reading I've done, it's a return to the early form of Cirque, which appeals to me.

I prefer the shows that have little dialogue, especially little English dialogue. I'm also pretty big on the music. The shows that are near and dear to my heart are Alegria, Quidam and Saltimbanco for the above reasons. The last show I saw was Varekai, and I found it to be a bit disappointing.

So, should I see Kooza?

Many thanks!

hey guys,

i just bought tapis rouge tickets to go see cirque and i was really excited about it, but now i am a little confused. some of hte things ive been reading make it seem like it is for executives and corporate groups specifically.

is it an appropriate thing for two people to do as a date? is the corporate thing something different?

i was also wondering if any of you had experienced the tapis rouge extras and what your opinions on them were

My first post in this lovely community. ^^; I was just wondering if anyone knows of any Cirque layouts floating about? I'm revamping my dear LJ and thought a CdS layout would be awesome. I appreciate any help at all~! Thank you very much~

The first Cirque show I saw was Mystere in Las Vegas. I also saw La Nouba in Orlando. Those are the only 2 theater shows I've seen. I have seen 4 or 5 shows in the big tent in Toronto.

Saltimbanco is coming to a nearby city, but I'm a little bit leery about going to see an arena show. Can anyone who has seen both a tent show and an arena show give me an idea about the differences in the experience? I definitely preferred the tent shows to the theater shows.

As a side note, I also saw Journey of Man in IMAX and am going to see Delirium in a few weeks!
